Prep:
Lysol or other mildew-inhibiting cleaner
Lint free washcloth for being sure surface is wiped clean
Primer, tinted to match background or dominant color of paper
Quality paint brush or roller (nothing that will leave little hairs all over the place)
Paint tray
The Main Event:
Wallpaper
Adhesive
Check adhesive manufacturer recommendations for mixing with water or other additives. You may need a bucket and paint mixer for mixing
Clean paint roller
Flat work surface for applying paint
Measuring tape
Basic Level
Pencil
Smoothing brush
Cellulose Sponge
Stiff Straight edge, at least 21” wide (this will be to apply pressure while trimming ends with box cutter)
Sharp box cutter for trimming ends
Optional:
Varnish for sealing
